Pugliesi Taralli with Chili Pepper

The Terre dei Trulli taralli are the authentic Apulian tradition. They are produced following the original recipe, handed down from generation to generation, which involves the use of a few simple ingredients: flour, water and oil. With only Italian and Apulian ingredients, they are strictly free of artificial colors and preservatives.

Given their low caloric value and their simplicity, Apulian taralli are a truly versatile food. They can be used to accompany first courses and soups, but they find their ideal role in an aperitif, as an accompaniment to a drink and to olives, cold cuts and pickles. The bold flavor of chili pepper is well dosed, to wet the palate without becoming too aggressive.
