Palagetto Brunello di Montalcino

Palagetto Brunello di Montalcino

Wine Profile

About This Wine

Rich and elegant with good structure, layered flavors, and medium body. Boasts black licorice, earth, tobacco, leather and forest flavors from longer oak aging. "Brunello" means "little brown one."  Italian law prohibits any temperature intervention in the growing cycle of Brunello (Sangiovese) grapes.  The winery has sold its vineyard in Montalcino and bottles will only be available until it sells out (which it will!).  If you're looking for a wine to put aside for a special occasion, this elegant Brunello develops richer flavors and smoother texture as it ages.  Stock up now so you can enjoy this phenomenal wine for years to come.

About This Winery

The Palagetto family is from San Gimignano in Tuscany and has always lived in this cradle of art and nature. Their forefathers passed down their passion for the fruits of the earth. The family has maintained and developed their vineyards and olive groves in the areas of San Gimignano and Montalcino, all while realizing their beautiful dream of sharing their wines with the world.
