Benton Lane Pinot Noir
Wine Profile
About This Wine
Vibrant ripe cherry, cranberry, and raspberry nose unfold into dried blueberries, plum, and lively summer herbs. Full, plush, and balanced textures with fine grained tannins and a gentle, bright acidic finish.
About The Winery
Benton-Lane was founded in 1988, a pioneer of the then-uncharted Willamette Valley. Nestled in a coastal mountain range with long sunny days and cool evenings, Benton-Lane is a 317-acre estate cloaked by thick forest and miles of pristine wilderness. The 140-acre vineyard is sustainably farmed, with a mix of sedimentary and volcanic soils that allow for complex terroir expression, and produces world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay balanced between freshness and intensity.
This wine is complex and layered, with ripe, fresh flavors and elegance. It has been aged naturally, for 10 months, in 100% French oak barrels.
